Education is the experience of helping people understand not just how to call an API, but why it works the way it does and how to use it well. Tutorials, guides, courses, and clear explanations raise the API literacy of everyone who touches an operation, inside and out. An educated consumer is a successful consumer, and an educated organization governs its APIs far better. I care about education because so much of the friction around APIs comes from gaps in understanding rather than gaps in technology. Investing in enablement, literacy, and teaching pays off every time someone integrates faster or avoids a mistake because they actually understood the API. The best API operations treat education as a core responsibility, not an afterthought.
